Full-Face Using e.l.f Cosmetics

Updated: Apr 13

Finally! A full face using e.l.f Cosmetics, a cruelty- free makeup brand that’s affordable for any budget.

Recently, I’ve been seeing lots of beauty influencers rave about specific e.l.f Cosmetics’ products. Normally when I hear about an e.l.f product, I head out to my local drugstore and purchase it. I now have a good amount of products from e.l.f and said to my self…’why not do a full face using e.l.f cosmetics.

So, here we are. Let’s get in to it!

PRIMER

I used the e.l.f cosmetics Hydrating Primer Serum, very first time using this product. This primer is infused with snow mushroom and Hyaluronic Acid to help skin retain moisture. It’s a lightweight primer and absorbs into the skin quickly. Immediately after application, I notice how the primer made my skin very hydrated. I love the applicator— it helps you control how much to use. I would say, this primer is similar to the Huda Beauty Water Jelly Primer, one of my favorite primers. Both the e.l.f primer and the Huda Beauty Primer feels the same, but the Huda Beauty Primer gets more tackier than the e.l.f primer as you work it into the skin.

FOUNDATION

Can you guess the foundation I used ?….. Yes, ofcourse, the e.l.f Flawless Finish Foundation… I mean, who doesn’t know about this foundation. Everyone has this foundation tucked away somewhere. Not I though! This is my first time using this foundation. I used the shade Cinnamon. It’s a heir to light but, I made it work and I know if I would of gone up a shade, I would have entered the red zone. So, let’s be fair. For this foundation to be $6, it does a very good job at providing a buildable coverage (medium to full). The finish gave me a semi soft matte, which it does mention under the product’s description. I felt as though the foundation together with the primer created a beautiful canvas. I like the foundation and see my self using it again. (100% vegan and cruelty-free)

FLAWLESS FACE BRUSH & BUFFING FOUNDATION BRUSH

You’re go-to brushes for powder and foundation.

CONCEALER

I love the e.l.f Cosmetics Hydrating Camo Concealer. The coverage is amazing, creamy, full coverage, and really lightweight. I used the shade Deep Chestnut, deep with golden rich undertone. I should have picked up a lighter shade because it was a tad bit too dark. So, don’t knock me…I mixed a little of my L’Oreal Infallible Concealer in the shade Almond. I also did use the same exact shade to conceal dark marks before applying the e.l.f Flawless Finish Foundation.

CAMO CONCEALER SPONGE

This sponge is absolutely amazing! It’s super soft and perfect for blending out concealer around the undereye.

SETTING POWDER

Now,…WHO TOLD ME TO SET MY UNDEREYES WITH THE HALO GLOW SETTING POWDER?…WHO?.. The e.l.f Halo Glow Setting Powder do have shimmer in it, but... it worked out. The shimmer wasn’t too drastic and honestly…it was a look. It gave me an extra glow under my eyes. This setting powder is very smooth and is super easy to blend out. It doesn’t settle in the crease or cake up.

EYESHADOW

Berry Bad Bite- Size Eyeshadows— This shade range is great for any natural or soft glam look.

LIPS

So, I didn’t use a lip liner from e.l.f. I did use the e.l.f Lip Plumpling Gloss in the shade Peach Bellini. I run to this high -shine plumping gloss all the time. It keeps my lips hydrated and gives a fuller look. It’s enriched with Vitamin E and Coconut oil to nourish the lips for a soft, supple feel.
